This is the 21st Centuary Giles I think Slavery's been over for the last oh couple hundred years?

"What?" she asked in a small voice as she saw him stare at her and than up at the squirrel. Squirrels were her friends, well...the ones she found and brought in the house anyway. Giles still hadnt found three of them which was a relief. The squirrel somehow landed on the girl's shoulders and somehow, this relaxed Anya, it looked alot like Murry back home...he was grey and...so was this one.

While Morrigan had very slowly made her way over toward the sound, she realized that it had stopped...no more unpleasant loud voices...
Well that was just fine and all so very jolly, wasn't it?
But still, she carried on, steel toed boots thumping unnecessarily upon the ground, short black hair bobbing with each step. She could be getting around much faster if she so desired, but for the moment she wasn't very particular to that. If she took her time, things often sorted out for themselves. Except, she realized, she didn't want that right then, she was hoping for a tad but more excitement in her life. Or for the day. She would feel foolish staying in the sun if she didn't have some sort of purpose or could say "Well, at least I did this".
And as Morrigan reached her destined spot, she was greeted with an unpleasant sight. A wide assortment of people...that was what she certainly did not need...being chased or cursed at or having water thrown on her wasn't what she desired. Unless she could keep the horrid creatures from realizing what she was. Yes, that would be her plan. Make introductions, and then be sure to get out of there. Quick.
A young boy, however, caught her eye. And from the look on a girl's face and the atmosphere surrounding them each, she was rather certain he was the cause of all the former commotion. But she didn't introduce herself as she had originally planned...she was rather certain that staying back and observing would make for a much more enjoyable a time.

Shadow shook his head in response to her question. "Nothing.. I just got a wee bit scared" was all he responded with a snort. "I am allowed to... right?" he added on almost cheekily giving a slight whisk of his tail.

Anya nodded. There was nothing wrong with looking. She sighed as she really did wish, wherever Giles was, he was safe. She hated not being there she wihsed she was powerful enough to just teleport herself back but how could she when she didnt evne know how she had gotten here in the first place. Her levitation power had saved her life but she didnt think that if she teleported she'd land back where she had started only she'd end up somewhere foreign.
