A pack of wolves pranced around, snapping at each other in playful fun. The youngest at the first running around, the oldest at the back. They weren’t hunting, it they were it would be completely different. They all noticed it at once, apart from a white and grey female world who yelped before noticing the silence. She inhaled, filling her nose with the scents of the forest. Everything was as it should be, except for the scent of a human or something of the like. Long-fang looked at the she wolf. Talk to them, get them off our territory his eyes said. He didn’t need to say it explicitly. They all trotted off a short distance off, waiting for the human to approach, except from 2 wolves. The female and a black wolf with white specks. The female shuddered momentarily before becoming human. Her clothes were ripped and torn, they were bound to be, romping around a forest for months on end as a wolf, not getting changed. She knelt beside her friend, hand on his neck for support and they waited to see if the human would come past, otherwise they’d search.

"Oh Maeniel...Are you sure about this place?" Erde asked out loud for her companion to hear without her having to face him. Concern tugged at her words noticeably as they stopped after some walking deep into the forest. She wiped some sweat off her forehead with her hand, her hair loosed and messy in her face. "I can't promise you anything this time, but it was the only place I could find more suitable. The fog will cloak us enough along with the darkness of the forest." Maeniel replied from a few more paces in front. They had landed a few hours ago for some rest after half a day's travel by flight, which left both of them exhausted. He had to fly extra miles until he was satisfied with a safe-looking place they could rest, but Erde never agreed with him to come into this one.
Wile Maeniel sat back against a tree in his human form after having looked about their surroundings, Erde simply decided to wander off a bit farther and explore the 'safety' of the forest. She took advantage of that fact that sleep had already taken Maeniel away, and that dragon could sure fall into a deep sleep. The fair skin pushed her way through bushes and tree branches just to get a good distance away. All her ruckus would have certainly woken up any creature living here, but she couldn't keep her steps any more silent if she wanted to keep going. A sigh escaped her lips. "Something tells me you just got tired of looking..." she whispered to herself. She tripped into a more open clearing; much less trees and bushes to block her path, and stood to look around. There was an odd silent around her. She knew it wasn't a good sign, having grown in a forest herself. The animals should be busing around and filling the forest with lively noise.

Kal had watched Erde for a bit once she’d spotted her, Moonshine was sat calmly beside her. Then the teenager decided the time was right and stepped out, the wolf by her side, teeth bared to help protect his territory. “What are you doing here?” she asked. If they were just passing through she’d tell them to do so quickly, before the wolves began to get too agitated. Humans scared away game, or hunted their food, they usually didn’t like wolves either. Kal’s pack didn’t have very good experiences with humans, and neither, particularly, did Kal, despite their status. There’s a dragon nearby Moonshine told her, smelling it with his ultra-sensitive wolf nose. She nodded a thanks to her companion, and put two and two together. “Dragonian,” she continued “We mean you no harm, but if you don’t leave before the pack gets too upset you’ll be in for trouble. They have no reason to like any humanoid.” Except me, she added to herself but that’s more to do with the fact they see me more as a wolf that can turn human than a human who can turn wolf. She thingyed her head to the side, studying Erde. She’d never actually met a Dragonian and wished that she had the chance to talk properly, however pack came first, and they did not want her there. That Kal understood, and she hoped that the girl before her would also.
